Tanika Muslar Appointed Chief Chaperone for Miss Florida Caribbean (MFC) 2009


FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – July 22, 2009 - Tanika Muslar, First Runner-up Miss Florida Caribbean 2002, has been appointed Contestants Chaperone for the 2009 Miss Florida Caribbean Pageant.

Tanika who is no stranger to pageantry having held several titles including the Miss Belize Florida 1998 and Jr. Miss Belize Florida 1991 and has on behalf of the Florida Caribbean Pageant, represented Belize in International Pageants such as the inaugural Miss Caricom International in Georgetown, Guyana under the auspice of Actor Danny Glover, placing second runner-up and Miss Global International in Montego Bay, Jamaica winning Best talent and Miss Congeniality, will provide the 2009 Miss Florida Caribbean Contestants with guidance and consul having been in similar position herself.

Leading up to the Presentation Show on November 15, at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Airport, the Contestants will participate in numerous workshops, social and entertainment activities organized for them by the Pageant Committee. Tanika is ready to take on the challenge of guiding the girls towards the Miss Florida Caribbean Title and a chance to compete for the Miss Caribbean United States title in New York.
